This Victoria specific Health & Safety Representative (HSR) course provides you with the knowledge and skills needed to promote and ensure the health and safety of your work group. Developed by WorkSafe Victoria, it focuses on the practical role of HSRs and aims to achieve positive workplace outcomes through consultation and issue resolution.
Under the OHS Act 2004 (section 67), all elected HSRs and Deputy HSRs are entitled to undertake WorkSafe Victoria-approved HSR initial OHS training and choose their course in consultation with their employer. Fire & Safety Australia is approved by WorkSafe to deliver the HSR Initial OHS Training Course.
